This is what I'd call a Daddy-long-legs, but is really a crane-fly, in the USA a DLL is a spider. Wiki tells me there are over 4,000 different crane flies (Tipulidae), I'll have to look more carefully in future.
Everyone knows about Icelandic jumpers, all the traditional colours grow free and without any environment damaging dyes.
This little chap was bouncing like a wagtail, but is a bit pale, possibly a juvenile pied.
I think this is a juvenile redwing, any other ideas?
A young fulmar, they nest on cliffs inland, jump out into rivers, often from scary heights and hope to find the sea, protective parents bombard invaders with half digested fish. This one hadn't made the sea or learnt that humans are dangerous.
