Peak District,Plague, Computers

We had another weekend in the peak-district, based in Youlgrave/Youlgreave or one of the 100 or so spellings used in the last 1000 years! We went there in the summer and stumbled on the welldressing. This is Eyam, where in 1665-6 a large proportion of the villagers died from plague, allegedly imported from London on flee-infested cloth. The vicars shut off the village, preventing a major epidemic in the area.
